This is the front side of the heart that J gave me. It was the first piece of jewelry he ever gave me and we were 15 at the time. You can see how worn it is now. I used to wear it religiously around my neck until the necklace broke when I was 17. Then I tucked it away in my jewelry box because I couldn't bear to part with it.
Tonight, I started my new year with the idea that I would create or work on some crafty every day. I have tons of beads and cross stitches and nothing is coming of them. This was the perfect start. :)
And yep, it still sparkles. :)

This was one of J's Christmas gifts this year. He was pretty thrilled to get it as it replaced one that was stolen out of his car previously. Don't ask. Anyway, now this hangs in his truck and I like it because it's not girly & it really fits his personality.
